SevenSteps are working with a global concrete technology manufacturer who require a Regional Sales Manager for ROI, ideally based in Dublin or within the surrounding counties. The successful candidate will have a related background in structural technology and be responsible for driving best fit product solutions for clients across the ROI region. The main role of the Regional Sales Manager will be to drive the company products forward as the first choice for Architects, Design, Structural, Precasters and Main contracting teams in the region. The Regional Sales Manager will have an existing network of pre-construction stakeholders involved in the D&B contracting of flagship commercial build projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives in the Dublin region. Identify market opportunities, analyse competition, and recommend sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, provide technical support and solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Dublin region. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, participate in industry events, and promote the company's products and services.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and prepare sales forecasts and reports. Provide regular updates to the management team on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as production, engineering, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and address any technical or operational concerns.

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience leading business development, within construction - precast concrete industry or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of structural concrete technology and its applications.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Good understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Technical/ structural engineering background is desirable.
