Sales Executive – R&D Tax Incentives

The Opportunity
A client in the R&D Tax Incentive space is seeking a commercially driven Sales Executive to generate new revenue and develop long-term client and referral partner relationships across European incentive markets.
This is a results-focused role designed for someone who can consistently create high-quality appointments and convert opportunities into closed business. You will lead business development for European Tax Incentives, while also identifying cross-sell opportunities across our client's sister companies.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business development across European incentive schemes, including:
- R&D Tax Credits (Ireland, Netherlands, Germany)
- Irish R&D Incentives
- Knowledge Box
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closed client fees
• Generate new leads via proactive outreach and referral partner engagement
• Identify additional opportunities within existing clients for expanded services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with accountants, intermediaries, and business owners
• Position our client as the provider of choice in the European market
• Maintain a structured prospect database to ensure consistent pipeline growth
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Stay current on relevant legislation and emerging opportunities across European tax incentives
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and internal knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For
• Proven business development experience within tax incentives, financial advisory, or professional services
• Strong understanding of European R&D Tax Credits and incentive legislation
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, secure appointments, and convert revenue
• Commercially astute, with the ability to align services to operational and financial business challenges
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior executives and decision-makers
• Resilient, target-driven, and self-motivated
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative mindset across sales, delivery, and marketing teams

• €45,000 – €60,000 base salary (depending on experience)
