Regional Sales Manager - Scotland and North East England
Our client is an international manufacturer of precision engineering tooling and machinery for the energy, rail, aerospace, automotive and general machining industries. They design, manufacture and provide innovative, high precision products for the metal cutting sectors. Due to continual growth, they now require a technical sales professional to grow and develop the Scotland and North England area.
Responsibilities:
Your main duties include promoting the complex range of specialist products to qualified high-end clients and distributors, Machine installations and training with customers, customer visits and exhibitions require flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Scotland and North East England. The role demands a high level of activity and growth to develop the patch to its true potential therefore candidates must come from a business development background in the first instance. After a period of training with support from an experienced member of the team, you will be responsible for your own independent territory with a high turnover potential.
Your profile:
Ideally you will come from a technically bias background with a focus on machine tooling, engineering, manufacturing and precision machine tools with the main priority on the tool clamping and milling technology. B2B sales experience is a must however my client is willing to consider candidates who have been “on the tools” within milling, turning, CNC machining who have 2-3 years sales experience. You will have the ability to work independently, an entrepreneurial mind-set and customer service orientation. An outgoing personality, good communication skills and a self-confident manner.
Salary - £42,000
Bonus – 1.5% of sales
