Account Manager

£25,000 to £30,000 Basic Salary

 

The role involves selling the full range of manufactured products and installation services to the construction market.

 

The Account Manager will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be confident, proactive, results orientated with a positive outlook. The individual will be a forward planner who can critically assess their own performance and be able to demonstrate success in managing accounts. We have a preference for candidates who have experience selling in a construction or industrial setting, this role is mainly desk based so perhaps would not suit a field sales individual.

 

Purpose of Role

1-     Present and sell the company’s products and services to current and potential customers.

2-     Prepare action plans and identify specific targets.

3-     Be vigilant to new market opportunities through various market routes.

4-     Follow up quotes and leads.

5-     Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contacts.

6-     Manage accounts through quality checks.

7-     Produce monthly forecasts for new business.

8-     Identify and resolve customer issues. 

9-     Maintain a working calendar and report feedback through it.

10-  Participate in marketing events, such as trade shows and seminars.

11-  Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.

13-  Work and Manage area Pipeline information and CRM system.
