Field Sales Executive / Business Development Manager – Central Belt Scotland
THE CLIENT: This worldwide logistics company is a privately owned business with a solid track record of more than 30 years in providing reliable, high quality and personalised services in the field of shipping & logistics. As part of a much larger group they offer a diverse and efficient service range and continue to develop in to new arenas in order to remain competitive. Due to continual growth, they now require an experienced sales professional to join an already successful team.
THE ROLE: As Field Sales Executive / Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with selling a full range of forwarding and logistics services including air, sea and road freight, warehousing & distribution and port services. Clients vary across the board from SME to Corporate level – Technology, FMCG, Professional services, Pharmaceutical, Engineering, Automotive. Previous sales experience is a must have coupled with exposure to the logistics, pallets, courier, freight sectors – preference will be given to individuals with field sales experience however my client is willing to consider someone from a B2B telesales role with industry knowledge. On-going sales training will be given, with an excellent support network from the management team - successful candidates can expect fantastic career opportunities in a growing company with high earning potential.
Basic Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
OTE £50,000 - £55,000 uncapped
Car Allowance - £500P/M
