Business Development Manager – Glasgow & West Scotland

Every client has a designated personal account manager who knows their sites and understands their business. Together, they build long-term, trusted relationships and react quickly to develop new products when the client’s needs change.
Working for a forward thinking provider of alcoholic beverages, you will be tasked with liaising with various clients from the hospitality sector including hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants in addition to providing a route to market via the wholesalers. Selling to a split of new business accounts and an existing client base across the West of Scotland territory, you will be responsible for developing the accounts with a big push on growth and larger volume sales. Although titled Business Development Manager, you will also have responsibility for specific key accounts therefore the ability to converse at all levels is important. The successful candidate will be direct, driven, and confident in their approach with a good level of B2B sales experience. You will be naturally competitive with a desire to significantly over-achieve targets and therefore fulfil your financial ambitions. My client is looking for a truly creative “think outside the box” sales person who has a solid understanding of the Glasgow On-Trade who can make a real difference in a competitive marketplace. Please note only candidates with associated drinks experience or a wealth of contacts within the On-Trade will be considered for this role.
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000
OTE – 25% of Basic
