Business Development Manager – Central Belt Scotland

Purpose of the Role
This is a sales-focused role with primary responsibility for growth from within various industry sectors. A mix of contact with both prospective and existing customers, this role is geared towards the skills of a "hunter" mould. Full training and support on the product and sales processes will be provided.
My client prides itself on the support on offer to customers and partners and the Business Development Manager will look to develop very strong working relationships with the business owners, I.T and HR departments. In addition to direct sales, the Business Development Manager will be tasked with managing the internal sales team and will be instrumental in supporting them in bringing as many of their own clients as possible and retaining a high service level.
My client is looking for someone with around 2-3 years’ experience in a B2B sales, account management or relationship management role, ideally working with technology, I.T solutions, recruitment or professional services. Due to the nature of customer base, candidates must be professional, strong communicators and able to liaise with I.T departments confidently. This is a lively environment with a proactive culture therefore you must be outgoing, motivated and willing to share best practice. Excellent career prospects can be expected within the group.
Basic - £26,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
