Business Development Manager – Scotland & Ireland
Client: Our client is a market leading manufacturer specialising in bespoke building supplies and solutions. Their product range is well known across the sector for the supply of quality goods and high service levels, where customer care and technical advice are priority. They offer the widest range of products within their chosen sector and have built an environmentally friendly brand which focuses on the changing market. Due to internal promotion, our client now requires a Business Development Manager to cover the Scotland & Ireland territory.
The Role: As Business Development Manager, You will be responsible for developing new business relationships and managing a portfolio of accounts across the Scotland area with a monthly visit to Ireland. This role is selling in to the distribution network which will consist of builders and plumber’s merchants, some end user contact will be made via housebuilders, contractors, local authorities and fabricators.
The Candidate: Ideally you will have some knowledge or understanding of the construction industry with experience in either working for or selling to the builders merchants. We are looking for a positive person, with a strong personality and passion for life, you should be intelligent, good with numbers and ambitious. Excellent training and support are given in this role with a strong team player environment, the successful candidate can also expect progression within the business.
Package:
Basic Salary – £34,000 - £36,000
Bonus – 15% of salary
Company Car – BMW 3series/Audi A4 or equivalent
