Location: Livingston, Scotland (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days home)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 p/a + comms
We are working with a client, a leader in their sector, that is looking for a motivated Telesales Business Development Executive to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and is focused on achieving results. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a strong sales pipeline, and contributing to the team’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and convert sales opportunities through a combination of inbound leads and proactive outbound outreach
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, identifying key decision makers
- Present product solutions that meet customer needs and close sales
- Manage the full sales cycle to ensure high conversion rates and customer satisfaction
- Plan and implement retention and upselling campaigns to maximise client value
- Handle client renewal proposals and manage customer contracts through to completion
- Respond professionally to customer service and sales support requests
- Report regularly to management on sales performance and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Support wider team initiatives and contribute to overall business development goals
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B tele-sales, including both inbound and outbound calling
- A strong track record of working to and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Customer-focused, professional, and solution-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems
