We are working with a leading commercial and multifamily general contracting firm that is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Director to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint within the multifamily and commercial construction market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with multifamily community owners and asset management teams to generate meetings, project opportunities, and revenue growth
- Develop and maintain strong industry relationships to drive business expansion
- Identify and qualify new opportunities to build a consistent project pipeline
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through project completion
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of strategic sales experience in construction—commercial or multifamily
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Existing industry relationships with multifamily community owners and asset managers
- A track record of success managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to project completion
- A proactive, hunter mentality with a focus on driving new business
