Area Sales Manager - Scotland & Northern Ireland
Our client is a national supplier of industrial safety and engineering equipment for the manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, fabrication sectors amongst others. They pride themselves on level of service, quality of products and industry knowledge. Due to continued expansion, they now require a technically minded sales professional to grow and develop the Scotland & Northern Ireland area.
Responsibilities:
Your main duties include promoting the complex range of specialist products to qualified high-end clients within manufacturing, fabrication and engineering. The role demands a high level of activity and growth to develop the patch therefore candidates must come from a business development background in the first instance. There is a huge focus on developing the distribution network within this territory therefore previous experience managing dealers/distributors would also be advantageous. Ideally you will come from a technically bias background with a focus on manufacturing, industrial consumables, engineering or PPE (not within the construction market) B2B sales experience is a must however my client is willing to consider candidates who have been “on the tools” who have 2-3 years sales experience with an outgoing personality, good communication skills and a self-confident manner. Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
Bonus – £12,000
