The Opportunity:
Our client, a mission-driven organization creating phone-free spaces in schools and beyond, is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth in the education sector. This role focuses on building strong relationships with schools and districts, responding to leads, maintaining a robust pipeline, and fostering growth through collaboration and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with educational institutions via in-person visits, calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by maintaining a reliable pipeline.
- Identify new opportunities through proactive outreach and respond to RFPs.
- Present compelling proposals to school boards and administrators, showcasing the product’s value.
- Represent the company at education conferences and trade shows to promote awareness and generate leads (some weekend travel required).
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with prospective partners.
- Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training to refine sales techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in educational sales.
- Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Strong consultative, relationship-driven approach to sales.
- Exceptional interpersonal and in-person communication skills.
- Comfortable with dynamic environments, self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial.
- Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
